Material Handler, Start Date – As soon as possible

• Work Setting: The job will be performed outside. Applicant should have experience working outside and be comfortable working in all weather conditions including extreme cold and heat. Conditions may also be windy, dusty, and/or noisy.

• Duties:

1. Receive raw materials from various suppliers
2. Coordinate unloading and stocking of raw materials
3. Direct materials to various yard locations for processing
4. Coordinate flow of processed materials to manufacturing area
   • Vehicle and Equipment Experience: Must have current Forklift Operator Certification, Must have experience with All Terrain Forklift
   • Workplace Safety: Must have WHMIS Certificate
   • Physical Condition: Candidate must be physically fit and able to safely lift 100 pounds
   • Language: Candidate must be proficient in English
   • Essential Skills: Reading Text, Numeracy, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem Solving, Decision Making, Critical Thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Significant use of memory, Finding information, continuous learning.

  • Hours: 6:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Thursday (4, ten hour shifts per week)
