The twin alley can improve cattle flow as it offers a larger opening compared with traditional single file working alleys. Additionally, livestock can flow through the double alley with their herd mates visibly at their side which helps to reduce stress caused by isolation.
A double alley can be added to a variety of cattle working facilities. In the samples below you will see the double alley coming off of a crowding tub, a bud box, and a curved alley.
As with our other alley systems, the modular components provide the designer freedom to create a design that meets your individual ranch requirements.

The end of the double alley funnels your stock into a single file alley section, leading to the Palpation Cage and Cattle Squeeze Chute.
Hi-Hog offers both a fixed-width Palpation Cage and an adjustable-width Palpation Cage or you can use the PASS Gate / PASS Alley combination for rapid sorting ahead of the Squeeze Chute.
