Hi-Hog's overhead frames with built-in gates, also known as bow gates, are available in heights of 7' and 8' as well as a range of widths, weights, and gate heights.
The common connector system will allow you to integrate this item with any of Hi-Hog’s panel weights.

Handy Bow Gate
The handy frame with built-in gate, is commonly used for walk-through access in a line of Hi-Hog handy panels. This is a low-pressure frame and gate.
- The tubing is 1 5/16″ OD 16-gauge tubing
- The inside opening between each of the five horizontal bars is 9 7/16”
- The gate comes with a bolt latch
Corral Bow Gates
The corral frame with built-in gate, also known as a bow gate, is commonly used for access and sorting in corral systems. This is a medium to heavy pressure frame & gate.
The Frame
- All the gate tubing is 1 1/2” OD, 14-gauge
The Gate
- The gates top, bottom, and end verticals are constructed of 1.9” OD, 14-gauge tubing
- The interior horizontal bars are constructed of 1.5” OD, 16-gauge tubing
- The inside opening between the top horizontal bars is 9 3/4”
- The opening between the bottom four horizontal bars is 7”
- The horizontals are reinforced with 1.25” x 3/16” flat bar welded on alternating faces of the gate
- The gate comes with a 7/8” plunger latch and striker plate
8' High Corral Frame with 60" high Gate
Heavy Duty Bow Gates
The heavy-duty, one piece frame with built-in gate, also known as a bow gate, is commonly used for access, sorting and holding in working livestock handling systems. This is a heavy pressure frame & gate.
- The 4′ and 6′ wide frame & gates use a 7' high, single tube frame
- The 8′ wide and wider frame & gates use a 8' high, double tube frame
- The frame is constructed with 1.9” OD 14-gauge tubing for the end verticals and the top bars
- The bottom rail is 2 3/8” OD 0.125 wall
The Gate
- The heavy-duty gates are constructed of 1.9” OD 14-gauge tubing
- The end vertical supports are coned to remove sharp edges
- The inside opening between each of the five horizontal bars is 9 3/8”
- The horizontals are reinforced with 1 1/2” OD 16-gauge tubing
- Each of the verticals supports is coped to fit the horizontals
- The gate comes with a 7/8” plunger latch and striker plate

Calving Frame with built-in Gate
The calving frame & gate is commonly used as the rear gate on Hi-Hog’s calving enclosure. The shorter 7’ high frame of this frame & gate makes this is an ideal gate for use inside barns with a low ceiling height.
- The 7′ high frame is constructed with 2 3/8” OD 0.125 wall
- The heavy-duty gates are constructed of 1.9” OD 16-gauge tubing throughout
- The gates end verticals are coned to remove sharp edges
- The inside opening between the top three bars is 10”
- The opening between the bottom four bars is 8”
- Each of the vertical supports is coped to fit the horizontals
- The gate comes with a 7/8” plunger latch and striker plate
